MasterCard to Cooperate with Iran

As Iran’s nuclear deal is improving and moving closer to the implementation processes, MasterCard has launched its Telegram channel in Persian, indicating its services and the method to deliver the credit cards.

According to Tasnim news agency, its credit card is one of the most important services promoted in the channel, as Iranians can receive their cards by registering. Its partner fuel cards is another service which can also be used in different countries.

Naser Hakimi, Director of the Central Bank of Iran’s IT Department, earlier announced the interest by the foreign online payment companies for cooperation with Iran, saying that Iran is a good market as the customers and the exporters are waiting for it after removing of the obstacles.

MasterCard, meanwhile, considers to make changes in all the gadgets and ATMs, so that all the systems would be able to process transactions.

Hakimi further noted that international credit cards will be used only for international transactions, insisting that Iran’s internal transactions should not be managed by a service-provider from another country.
