Mental health must be taught from childhood

As the brain is the center of control of the body that makes decisions, caring it is an important issue and mental health means taking care of the brain and its function, said the academy in a recent report.

Therefore, it added, it is important to teach the people from the early ages of their childhood how to take care of their brains.

Meanwhile, according a British clinical research center has also emphazied on the mental health noting it should be placed on the national curriculum for primary school children.

The suggession was made in a report by the Young People’s Mental Health Advisory Group affiliated to the National Health Service (NHS) of Britain.

Published by the Guardian on Friday, the report said, 'If problems were to be prevented or dealt with effectively later, it was essential to address the issue early.'

Studies suggested there is a strong correlation between childhood and adolescent mental health difficulties and problems in adulthood, the report added.
