President Rouhani sent separate messages to heads of Islamic countries on the advent of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday and expressed hope that brotherhood and friendship bonds among Muslim nations be further promoted thanks to this auspicious birthday.

Dr Rouhani also expressed hope that Islamic countries use the precious heritage [of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday] and make joint efforts to show the merciful and luminous face of Islam to the entire world.

“This way, the followers of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) will be able to help fully establish peace and stability in Muslim countries with unity and sympathy and learning from the prophet’s life,” he wrote.

At the end of his messages, Dr Rouhani also asked the Almighty prosperity and felicity for all Muslims throughout the world.
