According to Public Relations and Information Center of Ministry of Culture, Mr. Ali Jannati said Iran and Qatar have long history of relations especially on art and cultural. Mr. Jannati said several books have been written in Persian language about Qatar in Iran and expressed his government’s interest to hold Qatari book fair in Iran. He also urged Qatari Minister of culture to hold Qatari Cultural Week in Iranian historic city of Isfahan. Qatari Minister of Culture Mr. Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al-kuwari, for his part said history, culture and interests of Iran and Qatar are converged. He added that Qatari ruler has always emphasized on the importance of relations with Iran Mr. Al-kuwari described his country’s relations with Iran as quite excellent and called for further expansion of bilateral relations.
