According to Public Relations and Information Center of Ministry of Culture Mr. Ali Jannati said Iran is among the culturally rich countries with ancient civilization and we should do our utmost to introduce our country to international community. He said Culture Ministers’ summit of Muslim nations is an appropriate forum for introducing our culture and we should do whatever we can to promote our culture within the framework of ISESCO resolutions. Mr. Jannati, referring to nuclear agreement concluded between Iran and 6 world powers said we stood firm and did not retreat from our position and this resistance brought glory for our country. On cultural front we should do the same and introduce our culture with full force, said the Minister. He added that in the Cultural doctrine, the question of extremism and Takfiries should also be addressed and taken into consideration. Referring to destruction of cultural heritage of some countries by extremist groups such as DAESH, Mr. Jannati said we should emphasize that such cultural heritage do not belong to a single country but is rather a human heritage and international community is responsible for their safeguarding
