Minister of Education visits Farhangian University

According to the Public Relations of the Ministry of Education, Dr. Fakhreddin Danesh Ashtiani said in his sincere meeting with teachers and staff of Farhangian Universtity: Considering this year’s motto, if we pause and think about production and employment, we understand the key role of education in this respect.

He considered human resource a key factor in production and employment and added: A country may achieve short term goals, but in long run you can reach your goals in development, production and employment, only if you understand and value education.

In most countries, students are ready to be employed from senior high and that is how we must program our system. We must have plans for high school graduates to be able to be employed immediately after graduation, without any need to take academic courses, and to do so, we need to have qualified, expert teachers and Farhangian University can train such teachers, says Ashtiani.

As economists argue, if you want to see a country is developed or in the right path for development, you should look at its educational system, especially elementary education. What matters in elementary education is the way of teaching not what is taught. Since the subjects taught in our system are good ones, our students obtain great grades in global competitions, but there are problems in the way of teaching and that is one problem Farhangian University must solve, added he.

Dr. Ashtiani named “self-confidence” a characteristic of successful people and said: In the field production, we need self-confident individuals and school is where this quality is formed. Positive interaction between student and teacher develops self-confidence and on the contrary, a negative encounter diminishes it. A negative approach, ruins student’s motivations and lead to pessimism.

Minister of Education concluded: I believe graduates of each province are different from the other and so, educational programs must be prepared to meet the requirements of each province.
