Hamid Reza Ganguzehi, a border village school teacher in province of Sistan-o-Baluchestan in south-east of Iran, offered up his life to save his students lives. He, together with his colleague Abdorra'uf Shahnavazi who was injured, tried to quickly withdraw three students playing near a wall on the brink of collapse. They managed to salvage the schoolboys but were unfortunately trapped under debris themselves.
Dr. Aliasqar Fani, minister of education sent a message on this selfless measure and admired the two teachers. He wished the injured teacher to get back to good health soon. He also gave his condolences to the late teacher's family and colleagues and wished peace for his soul.
