According to OERP Public and International Relations quoting ISNA, Dr Mohammadian, Head of the OERP talked about mission of the educational system in an interview. He suggested that education has an important role in realization of nation-state and system building as well as reform, modifying and promoting domestic cultural, social and economic relations and affairs.
He said that five elements of rationality, faith, knowledge, morality and practice have emphasized in the national curriculum, rationality being the internal facilitator element and effectiveness the external indication. Developing rationality will lead to a pure life considering its individual, social and family dimensions.
He added, "for this reason we insist on carrying out Fundamental Transformation Charter of Education since our education is constrained by imposed structures that are accustomed with non-Islamic, non-Iranian intellectual foundations."
