Mohammad Mahdi Zahedi elected as the head of Education Commission of Iran’s Parliament

Mohammad Mahdi Zahedi was elected as the head of Education and Research Commission of Iran’s Parliament. Education and Research Commission of the Parliament held its Election of the Presidium on June 16, 2019.

Accordingly, Mohammad Mahdi Zahedi and Fatemeh Saidi nominated themselves to head the commission. Zahedi could win the election with 12 votes against Saidi’s 9 votes.

Hemayat Mirzade the Iranian MP said: Zahedi was elected as the head of Commission, Ghasem Ahmadi Lashki and Mahmoud Negahban Salami are the deputies of the head, Farideh Oladghobad and Alireza Salimi are the Commission’s Secretaries and I am the Commission’s spokesman.
