More than 13,000 students study in 110 schools in 60 countries in Iranian schools abroad

Gholamreza Karimi, at a press conference at the Alborz High School, said: "Over the past four decades, the Islamic Revolution has not yet been introduced into the international arena as it should be. We have great potential in education and training and we should work with other related institutions such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Tourism Organization and the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance to create a positive impression of Iran's educational system in the world.”

The head of the Center for International Affairs and Schools Abroad said: "Overseas schools are Iran's cultural base abroad, and we emphasize that we are planning and executing activities in overseas educational bases to provide the best services. To introduce our local experiences and capacities, we have designed a website in English so that the experiences of Iranian teachers can be shared with other interested parties in other countries.”

Karimi continued: “The number of students in overseas schools is more than 13,000, by 110 schools in 60 countries. Today, there is no problem in starting the school year in these schools, and of course, we should run our schools according to the standard rules of the based countries, and, in accordance with their conditions. In some countries, the rate of attendance of students is greater than the capacity we can accept, so this year we have been calling for the nongovernmental sector to establish new schools alongside schools abroad, and we have nearly 30 applications for the establishment of such schools abroad.”
