Moscow Islamic Culture Center opens

Head of Iran's Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) Abuzar Ebrahimi said in the center's inaugural ceremony that extremism, violence and xenophobia in the region and world are rooted in the lack of understanding of reality.
He praised the role of representative of the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution in Moscow to launch the center and hoped that it can promote Islamic teachings and peaceful life among followers of different religions.
Mohsen Qomi, deputy for international relations of the Leader Office, also said at the ceremony that human beings share the value of needing peaceful life along with justice, spiritual life and ethics.
He said the Moscow Islamic Culture Center will serve as a hub for exchange of ideas and thoughts among thinkers, elites, ulema and believers from various religions.
Iranian Ambassador to Russia Mehdi Sanaei told the event that the center can contribute to advancement of all-out ties between Iran and Russia.

Head of Spanish Fundación Tres Culturas (Foundation of Three Cultures) in a meeting with the Iranian cultural attaché in the country and a number of Qazvin Municipality's officials voiced his country's readiness for developing cultural cooperation with Iran.

 

According to the Islamic Cultural Relations Organization, Ali Reza Esmaeili who is in southern city of Seville accompanied by a traditional music band from Qazvin, conferred with the Head of Spanish Fundación Tres Culturas José Manuel Cervera.

They discussed enhancement of cultural exchanges between the Spanish cultural center and Iranian artistic and cultural institutes.

Cervera said that Andalusia region with an ancient cultural history, especially in the Islamic field, is prepared to host different groups from Iran to help introduce some sections of the Iranian culture and art in the country.

Referring to the objective behind the establishment of Fundación Tres Culturas which is to pave the way for dialogue among Islam, Christianity and Judaism, he voiced their interest in planning for performances by Andalusia's groups in Iran.

Esmaeili, for his part, referred to Qazvin as one of the major historic and cultural cities in Iran which enjoy a high artistic and cultural status.

Meanwhile, an officials from Qazvin Municipality also voiced the city's readiness to host Spanish artists and elites in future
