The need for co-operation and intensive collaboration between universities and education

According to the Ministry of Education and Science Information and Public Relations Department, in line with a series of sessions held since 1396 in the Ministry of Education with the presence of professors from the universities of education sciences in Tehran, a meeting was held in the starting days of the New Year with the presence of presidents and professors of the Faculty of the Universities of Tehran , Shahid Beheshti, Kharazmi, Allame Tabatabai and Al-Zahra.

In this meeting, Sayyed Mohammad Bathayi said: "One of the missing elements in the education system is the discontinuation of collaboration with the ministry as a responsible organization for implementation and the universities of the country as a theoretical and academic system. At present, we are facing problems that education colleges are the keys to their solutions, and this discontinuity has resulted to existence of more educational problems. Many of educational problems of the past 30 or 40 years have been stagnant and still unresolved, while the potential of solutions to these problems are laid in the science of universities."

Bathayi added, "The distance between these two areas has caused the training given in universities to be incompatible with the realities that we encounter in running schools, and some university graduates after entering schools can't use the given training."

About the plans of the Ministry of Education in 1397 Bathayi said that one of the plans is to reduce the distance between education and the community, and to achieve this goal is what we teach students should be more in line with the needs of the community and families. presently the content of education in schools makes the conditions in schools undesirable to families and students, and keeps joy away from our schools.

The Education Minister explained the plans for the year 97 and said: "There are three major plans for improving the school administration system: assessing and improving the competence of managers, rendering authority to schools whose managers are qualified, and the school quality control and quality control system are the most important of these plans."

It is worth mentioning that the meeting was attended by the following Deputy Ministers: Khennifer, Emadi, Farhad Karimi, Gholamreza Karimi, Zarafshan and Tourani from the University of Farhangyan, Center for Evaluation, Research Institute for Education, International Affairs Center, Secondary Vice-President and Research and Planning Organization.
