He added that levels of public awareness in different fields must be improved utilizing mass media and ICT. Hence, it is essential for the public, and the youth and adolescents in particular, to become familiar with media literacy and to provide them with the principles of criticism and analysis of media messages.
He further added that in any area of knowledge, the element of thinking and reflection is important for the receiver of the message not to be subdued by the information. For this reason this element has been seen as an area of learning for every grade and each level of education in the national curriculum.
