New Braille Books Published for Disabled Iranian Children

According to IBNA correspondent, quoting from the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Center for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults(CIDCY), association libraries of the Center are the ones where children and teenagers with special needs (the physically disabled, blind and deaf) work along with other members of the center on cultural and artistic activities. The number of these libraries reaches 39 centers across the country with at least one library in each province.
Celebration of was held at the Center for the Cultural and Artistic Activities on Hejab St in Tehran. The Center held the celebration concurrent with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities to mark the launch of comprehensive centers in all provinces of the country. Veteran players of the National Soccer Team of Iran like Morteza kermani Moqaddam, Hassan Shir Mohammadi and Majid Namjou Motlaq, as well as Judo World Champion Arash Mir-Esmaili attended this event.
A number of officials from the Welfare and Exceptional Education Organization of the country as well as those involved in charitable organizations and N.G.O activists in the field of service to children and young adults with special needs also attend the ceremony.
