In line with its revolutionary commitment and mission, the Organization for Educational Research and Planning has prepared and compiled a book entitled "The Collection of Knowledge of the Islamic Revolution and Textbooks", which is a unique collection of its kind.
Each country strives to raise children according to its ruling philosophy and in line with its ideals and goals. As the curriculum provides the ground for a comprehensive, extensive and profound transformation in educational concepts and content, it is an effective tool which leads to forming the learner’s identity and behaviors.
Accordingly, the curricula of the formal public education system of the Islamic Republic of Iran has the approach of "monotheistic naturalism" and is based on the philosophy of Islamic education, using the achievements and scientific findings of Iranian-Islamic culture and civilization. It aims to raise a religious generation, believer and loyal to Islamic values, who is also revolutionary and plays an active role in creating a righteous society based on the standard Islamic system.
The Islamic Revolution of Iran was in line with the monotheistic mission of the prophets that emerged to build another world and a new man in the contemporary era. This miracle, which was the result of the religious and Islamic thought of the great architect of the revolution, the wise leadership and the participation of the masses of people of all levels and strata, changed not only the political geography and the balance of power in the region but also changed the epistemological geography and cultural map of the world.
Therefore, we believe that the knowledge of this great revolution as well as the revolutionary spirit should be strengthened in Iranian youth and adolescents through textbooks. The Organization for Educational Research and Planning made efforts to enrich the culture and knowledge of the Islamic Revolution in all items of learning education packages, especially textbooks.
"The Collection of Knowledge of the Islamic Revolution and Textbooks" is an effort made by The Organization for Educational Research and Planning to present the concepts and knowledge of the Islamic Revolution with a cultural and educational approach and appropriate to the age, cognitive and psychological characteristics of students. The book contains both texts (content) and picture and enjoys various learning activities including “dialougue”, "give examples", "think", etc.,
It’s worth noting that OERP is planning more professional education and learning packages based on the philosophy of Islamic education and upstream documents of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
It is obvious that the success of the organization in explaining the teachings of the revolution will help students appreciate the achievements of the Islamic Revolution and have pride in its original values more than ever before and guard this great divine blessing.
