Oman to Host Quran Contest for Youths

The 28th edition of a Quran and Hadith competition for the youth in Persian Gulf Arab countries will be held in Muscat, Oman, later this month.

It will be organized from February 25 to March 2, al-Watan Daily reported.

The organizing committee of the contest recently held a meeting in Muscat to discuss the technical and administrative aspects of the event.

At the meeting, head of the committee Muhammad bin Saed al-Munawari and other members conferred on ways to best hold the Quranic event.

They also discussed the necessary preparations for hosting the contest.

The regional Quran and Hadith competition for the youth is annually hosted by one of the six Arab countries of the Persian Gulf.
