One should be more cautious in a society full of suspicions and doubts

According to the Public Relations of Organization for Educational Research and Programming, Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi said in his meeting of Monday morning with Dr. Mohammadian and his entourage: In a society full of suspicions, one should be more cautious, so that suspicions would not ruin the objectives.

Referring to the three groups of “Religious, Passive and Opposition” existing in Islamic countries, he said: Opponents believe that discussing subjects like reading Qur’an, mourning and seclusion will strengthen rival group.

His Excellency then, mentioned crucial role of teachers and added: If teacher is not dedicated and conscious, result will be disastrous, even if you have proper textbooks and educational plans.

Insisting that in a society full of suspicions, one must be more careful, he said: The teachers who were petrified by technological advances of west tried to implicate doubt through allegedly scientific subjects to the students’ minds. For example they asked whether religion is a result of ignorance or fear. And therefore, they questioned origin of religious beliefs.

Indicating that sometimes changes are inevitable, he added: In these cases it would be appropriate to explain reasons for changes in prologue or post script in order to leave no uncertainties or doubts.

He considered home, school and community three effective surroundings in one’s raising and indicated: Inadequacy of any of these three will create a burden for other two.
