Over 1000 Abstract Papers Submitted to Quran, Humanities Int’l Congress

Executive Secretary of the congress Hojat-ol-Islam Issa Mostarhami told IQNA that the secretariat has also received 700 papers so far.

He said 110 of selected papers and their abstract in Arabic and English will be published in a volume.

He noted that the congress will be held at the Imam Khomeini (RA) Higher Education Center in Qom on Thursday, November 30.

According to the cleric, 25 scholarly and academic centers, including the Qom Islamic Seminary, Qom University, Dar-ol-Hadith Institute, University of Quranic Sciences and Teachings, Al-Mustafa International University and Bint-ul-Huda Institute cooperate in organizing the event.

Quran and methodology of interdisciplinary studies in humanities, Quran’s scientific miracle in humanities, role of Quran in Islamic civilization’s humanities, and relations between the Quran and humanities are among the themes of the congress, he went on to say.
