The Pakistani minister also emphasized the need for exchange of cultural and media delegations and directed the officials concerned of her ministry to establish an effective coordination with Iranian embassy to ensure increase in the frequency of exchanges of cultural delegations.
Both sides also discussed in detail various proposals to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries by increasing cooperation, particularly in media, culture and information fields.
In relevant remarks in early June, National Security Adviser of Pakistan Nasser Khan Janjua underlined that Islamabad deems as highly important the broadening of relations with Tehran.
"Pakistan is committed to remove all obstacles in the way of improvement of its relations with Iran," Janjua said in a meeting with Honardoust in Islamabad.
