Pakistan to offer scholarships to study in Iran: Pak minister

In an interview with IRNA Baligh-ur-Rehman said it is good for both the countries that they have more bilateral programs together and exchange of students in different faculties.
“We will be supporting more scholarships more research projects in Iran,” he said.
He also said that the government will consider to make Persian language as a mandatory subject in schools as was in past. “We are also making efforts to promote regional languages in Pakistan including Persian at higher levels,” he said.
He highlighted the significance of Persian language with regard to promotion of cultural harmony.
He said Persian possesses vital status in regional as well as religious perspectives, adding that this language preserves a huge treasure of knowledge and wisdom.
