Persian Language and Literature, Key to our Identity

Deputy Minister and Head of OERP, Dr Mohyeddin Bahram Mohammadian said, "school is the source of teaching Persian language and literature where students get familiar with the body and structural elements of the language to gain the ability to compose and create various innovative texts."

He added, "language is a background for thinking. Fostering language skills can lead to personal, social, intellectual, communicational and cultural skills and this can even promote moral values."

He further added, "regarding new developments in technology and the need to equivalent terms, it is necessary to produce and propound new Persian terms. This should be done in cooperation with the Academy of Persian Language matching their rules and regulations."
