According to Ministry of Education PR and Information Center quoting IRNA, during a relaxation walking with the public and authorities through Mashgh Sq. (aka Bagh-e-melli or National Garden) Aliasqar Fani, minister of education answered the questions of reporters. He said paying attention to the case of sports and physical education falls into the key duties of ministry of education and that promoting students' physical education and sport activities has been emphasized in the Education Fundamental Transformation Charter.
He also mentioned students' health envoys program and Sport Olympiads and said, 'the Olympiads started two years ago and have increasingly been welcomed by students'.
The walking was organized through joint efforts of ministries of health and education as well as Tehran municipality to celebrate the health week.
