Public relation and Int’l affairs of OERP reports that in 13th Bazm-e Andishe sessions(1), which was held on Jun 26 2016 in convention center of OERP and at the presence of Dr. Salehi Amiri, president’s adviser and head of library and national arcade, Hojatt-ol Islam Dr. Mohammadian declared that this organization (OERP) is one of the major publishers, not only in the country but in the region with an annual production of 140 million of text books in different educational levels and near 40 million copies of Roshd Magazine. He regarded 10% to 20% of preparation of contents of text books to teachers and provinces, a great step toward realization of the goals of the “Statement for Fundamental Changes in Educational System” and to pursue teachers to participate yet more in preparation of text books’ contents.
He added “ these contents are prepared in accordance with the requirements of area (2) and students needs, under supervision of teachers.
Dr. Mohammadian referred to the process of educational programming as a complicated task and said “this programming is based on the contents of the Educational Changes Statement” state’s basic requirements and general policies outlined by Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution and laws and regulations sanctioned by Islamic Parliament of Iran, High Council of Cultural Revolution, Educational High Council, Expertized studies, personal and public necessities in the fields of families and industries and services.
“Considering that there was no changes made in educational text books for 30 years “, he added, “now we intend to regularly revise and update them every 5 years.
Referring to the12 Bazm-e Andishe sessions held in the past 12 months, and inviting educational and social experts Research Deputy of Minister of Education called these events a great opportunity for exchanging and sharing point of views and thoughts benefiting opinions of relevant experts.
