According to the Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Education, a group of MPs met with Sayyed Mohammad Bathayi in Shahid Rajaee Building Hall.
The minister of education said: "I am proud to be a servant of the people, and I call on parliamentarians not to leave the education system alone in the turmoil of their problems, because their presence will be an encouragement to the education managers."
"I have no complaints about the criticisms of the MPs, because I believe that people's representatives are at the forefront of the society's problems, so their criticism and advices will be good for education system and will help to determine the correct path of education," Bathayi said.
The education minister said: "If the current state of education continues, in the next 30 years, the ministry will face the same problems. Therefore, in order to overcome the existing problems, education must be transformed and reformed; of course, these changes definitely need the help of parliamentarians."
According to the report, following the explanations of the Education Minister on the performance of the year 96 and the programs of the year of 97, the MPs emphasized on the Government's assistance to the development of education and implementation of development projects.
