President Rouhani sent a message of condolences over maths genius, Maryam Mirzakhani's demise and prayed for her mercy.

The sad demise of Maryam Mirzakhani, the maths genius caused great grief and sorrow.
The unparalleled excellence of the creative scientist and humble person that echoed Iran's name in scientific circles around the world was a turning point in introducing Iranian women and youth on their way to conquer the summits of pride and various international stages.
I hereby praise her scientific services and everlasting works and express my condolences over her passing to the scientific community and his respectful family, praying to the Almighty for her mercy and his bereaved family's patience and rewards.
