President Rouhani told a group of officials that such a forward-looking gesture should continue enabling the country to ascend more altitudes of science.
Elsewhere in his address, President said this year, 15 big dams with the capacity to reserve about three billion cubic meters of water have been operational.
He said the country is also capable of generating more than 2,000 megawatts of power.
Next year, 3,500 megawatts of power will be added to the country’s power generation capacity, said the president, adding the amount of power to be added to the current capacity will be of critical importance for national development.
