Spending on education is investing for future and the government supports the education system with all its power, said President Rouhani at the meeting of managers of Education Ministry late on Wednesday.
"Growth and progress starts from schools," he said, praising teachers and authorities of Education Ministry.
He said: "Spending money on education is investing for future. Growth and development is impossible without education, which is development of science and awareness".
"Education system should be in consistence with needs and capabilities of the country," he continued.
On government's attempts to improve environmental conditions, Dr Rouhani said: "Improving the environment is one of the main goals of the government and needs collective and regional cooperation".
"Implementation of Healthcare Reform Plan has amazed many all over the world and it will continue powerfully," he continued.
President Rouhani added: "Apart from teaching science and knowledge in classrooms, our teachers teach Islamic-Iranian lifestyle with their words and actions".
Stressing the Islam is not the religion of isolation, he said: "Islam is the religion of communication. Islam has spread in many regions of the world through merchants and this shows that Islam is the religion of communication in trade, technology and science".
Interaction with the world should continue in the framework of our interests and principles, Rouhani continued.
Dr Rouhani added: "We proved that conspiracy and pressure on the Iranian nation is not effective".
"It is people's right to have access to its foreign exchange reserves and be an active member of the nuclear market," continued the President.
He went on saying: "Some countries in the region are trying to prevent Iran from using its opportunities in post-JCPOA era".
Dr Rouhani added: "The young generation needs guidance and education in the field of education; no problem can be solved through banning and filtration".
