President on the occasion of the first day of schools:

President Rouhani, on the occasion of the beginning of the education year across the country, said that an atmosphere of questioning should be encouraged in the education system and asked students to plan for a better future for their country.

In this ceremony which was held on Wednesday, Dr Rouhani asked students to answer the question of ‘After the nuclear deal with the 6 world powers and lifting of sanctions, what opportunities, do you think, are ahead of us and how should we make the best use of these opportunities?’.

Speaking about different aspects of opportunities in establishing relationship with the neighbouring countries, Rouhani added: “All the 13 million boys and girls who have started school and all the university students should know that with the considerable efforts that our nation and diplomats have exerted, today there is a new atmosphere ahead of the country. We fervently hope that by removing the obstacles in the way of our economy in the coming weeks, we can use Iran’s capabilities for further growth and development”.

Before President Rouhani’s speech, the Minister of Education Dr Fani pointed out that without a doubt, after the nuclear deal, production will gain momentum and said: “The Ministry of Education has put in a lot of effort in creating fundamental and futuristic infrastructure.
