President orders reviewing school outings regulations/Arranging overnight departure for outings banned until further notice

In the meeting that was chaired by President Rouhani, he said: "The tragic news of bus accident, which left a number of girl students dead and injured, caused great grief for the entire Iranian nation".

"This is not the first time our country's future talents are victims of road accidents and this cannot be simply overlooked by only expressing grief," the President said.

He added: "It is essential that the regulations of school excursions be seriously reviewed by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Roads and Urban Development within one month".

He also called for banning the overnight departure for outings until further notice, adding: "Outings of this nature must be planned at higher levels and long trip be avoided".

"It is also essential that the families of the students be informed about all the required information, requiring their full permission," he added.

The cabinet also discussed other issues such as the administrative system and salary determination council.

The Council of Ministers also discussed and approved the agreement of commercial shipping in Caspian Sea between Iran and Kazakhstan.

The administration also authorised Central Bank to negotiate opening of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) mission in Iran.
