President Rouhani appeared at a school in Tehran early on Saturday to ring the school bell, marking the beginning of 95-96 academic year.
The ceremony was held after Dr Rouhani cut the ribbon to Narjes high-school for girls in Tehran’s district 6.
1000 education and sport projects were also inaugurated throughout the country.
President is set to address students and authorities of the school and pose the 17th ‘Mehr Question’ -a question presidents pose at the beginning of the academic year.
