Reference to the Educational System Necessitates Futuristic and Strategic Studies

Based on the report of the OERP Public and International Relations, Dr Mohammadian, Deputy Minister of Education and the Head of the OERP, emphasizing the need for an active approach and a critical vision, considered adaptation of rewarding research findings of other educational systems as an important measure towards consciously utilizing human knowledge and similar research institutions experiences.

Criticizing the fact that our educational experts and faculty members are not familiar enough with foreign languages and as a result have little international interactions, Dr Mohammadian added that the one-way translation into Persian does not lead to any excellence. However, it is necessary for us to exchange domestic views and success stories at regional and international gatherings and study centers.

The Head of the OERP noted that conducting futuristic and strategic studies in education and making futuristic plans can turn our education system into a pole of inquiry, a reliable reference and a benchmark for the Islamic region. Thus, it is necessary for the relevant organizations to encourage and to provide financial and emotional support for good proposals and indigenous educational innovations. It is also necessary to build up active and effective databanks to document and publish research findings.
