The registration will continue for 70 days and those interested can sign up online or refer to offices of the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization across the country.
According to the schedule, the first stage of the contest will be held at the city level in May and April.
Winners of the first stage will make it to the second round, slated for July.
The northwestern city of Urumia, West Azarbaijan province, will host the final stage on September 2-17.
The contest is annually held by the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization with the aim of promoting Quranic activities and identifying the country’s Quranic talents.
Last year, the northern city of Rasht, Gilan province, hosted the competition.
