In an interview with Kayhan Daily reporter, Head of OERP, Dr. Mohammadian called schools as the locus of civic education and disciplining and an appropriate place for living practice and learning by experience, reported by OERP Public and International Relations.
In a meeting with technology experts he also said that in the third millennium, application of computers and communication technologies has entered world into information era and new citizenship systems so that new civic education is required.
Pointing to the important role of education in developing law-abiding citizens he added that civic education especially on electronic towns are based on Islamic criteria, the starting point being policy making, planning and programming new technologies education and basic IT education.
