Dr. Mohammadian pointed to the background of the festival and said RIFF can play a major role in cultural development of the society using its successful experience of 45 years. He also urged participation of other ministries and organizations in holding the festival. He added that ministry of education has been organizing the festival as yet but organizational assistance and sponsorship of others is needed for synergy and magnificently running the festival. He explained that the contents of participating films are not merely educational but there are cultural, social, political, economic, environmental, etc., contents as well and this justifies demanding participation of related organizations.
