Russian mufti hails Leader's letter to western youth on Paris tragedy

Speaking to IRNA, he noted the letter depicts anti-Islamic aspect of West's approach towards terrorism.

The cleric admired Leaders' vigilance towards enemies' plots, adding that the Leader's letter was a right letter in the right time.

Islam is the religion of mercy and it is against terrorism and Daesh (ISIS) and other terrorist groups are not able to sabotage image of Islam by their criminal actions, he said.

Ashirov underlined contribution of the Islamic Republic of Iran to international campaign against terrorism in the Muslim countries, expressing deep concern about rise of terrorist groups.

In his perceptive second letter, Ayatollah Khamenei expressed indignation at terror attacks in Paris and said that Islam forbids bloodshed of the innocent people.

The Iranian Leader cautioned the western youth against stirring Islamophobia in the wake of the terror attacks in France, saying that Islam has nothing to do with such heinous crimes perpetrated by Daesh.

He called for constructive dialogue and a demand from the world powers to stop linking up with “backward political systems” in the Middle East region.

In his first letter to the youth in Europe and North America in January, Ayatollah Khamenei urged them to study about Islam and to get firsthand information about it before accepting their governments’ propaganda.
