Russian official calls for expansion of Tehran-Moscow scientific ties

Kuznetsov told reporters on Tuesday that Iran has gained remarkable growth in the field of science and the growth will be noteworthy in the post-JCPOA era.
He said Zanjan University has a good status among world universities and establishment of link with it would result in good scientific relations.
He went on to say that the two provinces of Zanjan and Chelyabinsk are very similar economically and due to the same reason there are vast grounds for cooperation between the two provinces.
He maintined that Iran is among good and forward-looking countries in terms of scientific growth.
In case of Iran's agreement, Russia can soon dispatch a number of specialists and instructors from Chelyabinsk to teach in Zanjan University, said the minister, adding, 'I intend to upgrade scientific cooperation with Iran and Zanjan and promote working cooperation.'
He urged cooperation between Iranian and Russian universities in science and research fields.
