Cultural ties have an impact on economic and political relations between countries and Seoul is committed to enhancing cultural relations with Tehran, he underlined.
The envoy said that South Korean President Park Geun-hye, during her recent visit to Tehran, called for promoting cultural ties between the two states.
He described ties between Iranian and Korean peoples as historical and friendly and noted that the future of Iran-South Korea ties is bright.
South Korea cultural festival which began in Tehran's Milad Tower on July 8 ended on July 9.
