Sarajevo after developing ties with Tehran

“The Bosnian ministry of civil affairs is ready to take advantage of all opportunities and capacities to develop all-out relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran in areas of science, culture, art, and sports,” said Adil Osmanović, the Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on Thursday, during his meeting with Mahmoud Heidari, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Recounting how agreements, memoranda of understanding, and deal are signed in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Osmanović voiced hope that cultural interactions between the two countries be facilitated after agreements are signed having followed the legal procedures. He voiced hope to meet with his Iranian counterpart in near future in Sarajevo.

The Iranian diplomat, in this meeting, for his part, referred to the visits made by the officials the two countries to the respective capitals of Iran and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mr. Heidari said that the way Iranian fairs in Bosnia and Herzegovina were welcomed by Bosnian people proved the depth of cultural commonalities between the two nations.

Mr. Heidari voiced Iran’s readiness for re-establishing the programs of cultural interactions between the two countries and recounted the bolstering process of academic cooperation between he two countries especially in the areas of modern technologies.
