Dr. Mohammadian: “The aggressive acts of the Saudi government are not only condemned by humanity and Islamic logic, but also rejected and condemned in terms of human rights and international rules. Saudi crimes in Yemen are organized and racially motivated.”
Ayatollah Mohammadian, recalling the human and Islamic responsibility of Islamic governments and Muslim nations in condemning this catastrophe, stated that the United Nations and the Security Council in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations, the Conventions on Human and Children Rights, and even the Convention on the War are tasked to take appropriate measures against the Saudi’s brutal Regime and its aggressive and inhumane crackdown on Yemenis; although we know that the leaders of these types of organizations are usually silent on these crimes, while bribed by Saudi government.
Food disaster and malnutrition, life threatening diseases like cholera is taking the life of the Yemenis people and children, and despite the announcement of some community groups or NGOs, international organizations have not yet taken any protective action, while the blockade of ports and airports of Yemen has added pressure to the desperate people of Yemen.
Unfortunately, the Myanmar refugees and Rohingya Muslims have also similar situations. While it was expected that Pope in his trip to Myanmar, could have had a sermon to the leader of the ruling party of Myanmar! But, unfortunately, not even a word was mentioned in support of the Muslim refugees of the oppressed people in Myanmar.
I can’t understand the relevance of these kinds of actions with the conducts and teachings of Jesus Christ (PBUH) and other prophets.
During the prayer for the oppressed people of Myanmar and Yemen, Dr. Mohammadian strongly condemned the brutal acts of the Saudi government, and stated that these practices were complementary to the crimes of the Zionist regime and the implementation of US policies.
