In these mettings, Ayatollah makarem Shirazi, while pleased by the presence of the Minister of education and his entourage, said: "I hope that you can have a better and more services to the children of this nation. As you know the name of Department of Education originally was the Bureau of Education and also Bureau of Culture which was a fuzzy thing, but today its new name is coordinated with Quranic teachings. The day that its name was changed to Education, things became better and was lined with the Quran and the ultimate goal of human education. Parents should learn not to ignore the issues of education. Our Prophets were also teachers, one of the most important goals of Quran is cleanses and education and both should go together side by side in the teaching of students. If student gets enough training but morally gets weak, he will be a pain to the society."
He continued: "the Quran 1400 years ago has recommended refinements and education, in a time when ignorance was ruling the world. So if a student is scientifically strong but has no good training, he is not useful for the society, the family and the country. Another point is about the social damages that we see today, for example, children shoud be taught to use the virtual space in positive ways."
Ayatollah Makarem said that the high speed data transmission is another social damage, because those are often unhealthy information. How good it was, if only favorable and reliable information with this speed was available. The kids should become familiar with religious places, because such places are good for kids and are also the parent insurance places.
Also at this meeting Grand Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani and Grand Ayatollah Alavi Gorgani said: "Teachers have the most important jobs which is also the job of Prophets. You teachers deserve this work and with teaching kids you are stepping towards virtue.
Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani said that the curriculum, the character of the teacher and the student are the main elements of the formation of the culture
So many years ago, there were no scientist in the whole of Europe, while we had great scientists like Aburaihan, Avicenna and. .. Later some issues came up that Islamic countries and Muslims went under the domination of Europe, and these Europeans used the science of Muslims and coined them under their own name. The destructive culture transmission in different forms is another damage, such as that of the 2030 program which says we want the whole world to reach great developments by the year 2030. But in reality there are some issues in this program which will certainly harm our society. So we should be very much alert
The children of this nation are the trustees of this community, so they should be trained and educated well and teachers must acclimate them with the culture of the noble Quranic teachings and ways of the Prophets
Ayatollah Nouri said that the noble Islamic culture should be introduced to students, as you are the teachers and have the highest services to the community.
Ayatollah Alavi Gorgani continued: "God does not accept any action unless it is done for the sake of God and in His way. If the scholars in a community behave well, then the people become like them as well.the teachers must have better understanding of their students in order to guide them towards God's and His prophet's ways.
