Schools must be built on Iranian-Islamic style

Acoording to Fars News, Gholamali Haddad Adel, member of board of trustees of OERP said in 7th “Iranian school-Iranian architecture” which is holding at Tehran University: Buildings must be built according to Iranian – Islamic architecture.

It seems that Ministry of Education builds more building than other ministries and organizations of government, so they should build schools according to our own architectural style.

Former Member of Parliament added: when a budget of 10 billion Rials was approved for repair and reconstruction of schools, we thought about Iranian-Islamic architecture.

Reminding old schools in the country, Haddad Adel mentioned: Could these schools be our models and can we make changes in these old schools to meet our today’s needs?

Talking about Iranian-Islamic style, we are talking about outlook and other characteristics of the building’s appearance, Haddad Adel continued, so, can we have a pattern for this style, preserving our country’s ecological variation?
