Second Iran-Slovenia Religious Dialogue to open on Dec 15

Head of Iran's Cultural Relations Organization Abuzar Ebrahimi-Torkaman, Head of Center of Dialogue Among Religions and Civilizations Ali Mohammad Helmi, Head of Islam Department of Academy of Sciences Ayatollah Seyyed Mostafa Mohaqqeq-Damad and Head of Research Institute of Theosophy and Philosophy Abdolhossein Khosrow-Panah are to deliver lectures during the two-day event.

Christian thinkers from Slovenia, including Tadi Esterjuts, secretary general of Swiss Archbishops Conference, Lenart Eshkov, professor of Philosophical Studies Institute of University of Primorska will attend the event.

Muslim and Christian thinkers will present articles on various topics, including 'role of religious rationality in preventing violence and extremism', 'world without violence and extremism', 'obstacles in the way of dialogue and peaceful co-existence', 'Islamism and Islamophobia', 'world justice' and 'religions and hospitability'.

The second round of Iran-Slovenia religious dialogue will open in Tehran on December 15 and will continue in Qom until December 16.
