Seminar on Indo-Iranian Persian literature held at University of Kashmir

“Emergence of Moral and Ethical Values in Indo-Iranian Persian Literature” was the main topic discussed during the colloquium, which was attended by scholars and academics from Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Iran and Kazakhstan, the university announced on Friday.

The seminar has been organized by the Department of Persian Literature of the university with Vice-Chancellor Professor Khurshid Iqbal Andrabi presiding.
 
In a brief speech made during the opening ceremony of the meeting, Professor Andrabi underscored the importance of holding such seminars.

Persian scholars Shaief Hussain Qasmi, Abdul Khaliq Rashid, Mohammad Munawar Masoodi and Arif Ayoubi also spoke during the session.
