Some events in the region are backed politically

According to OERP Public and International Relations report, the Head of OERP, Dr. Mohammadian said that some events in the region are backed politically. "There have been a number of events, in Egypt or Syria for instance, known as Islamic awakening in recent years. However, I believe that the excommunication forces have been organized through an American-British plot" he said.

He added, "we can notice many facts of intellectual-religious disputes in the past 100 years.  The truth is that there is emerging an Islamophilia movement in the west that cannot be prevented by Islamophobia theory. Therefore they create quarrels within nations in an effort to prevent it and also weaken Muslims solidarity."

He further added, "it is our duty as educators to strengthen the theoretical foundation for our children to be able to encounter such intellectual attacks and clarify true Islam for them. Islam is not a violent religion but it focuses on humans' coexistence, good, and peaceful life."

The head of OERP said, "we should be careful to prevent divisiveness of Muslims and Shiites in particular from entering students' thinking. One of our duties in creating textbooks is to avoid superstitions and enlighten about them."
