"When Allah’s help comes with victory,
"And you see the people entering Allah’s religion in throngs
"Then celebrate the praise of your Lord, and plead to Him for forgiveness. Indeed He is all-clement.” (Holy Qur’an, Surah Nasr)
We are on the eve of the 36th anniversary of the grand victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran and ready to step into the 37th year of the grassroots movement of the Muslim people of Iran that rescued the country from domestic despotism and foreign hegemony.
The person who led the movement to a resounding triumph was a scholar of repute, a foremost ascetic, a farsighted sage, and a descendant of Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) – the Almighty’s Last Messenger to mankind on whose triumphant entry into his hometown Mecca after 8 years of exile, God revealed the above Surah to describe the mood of the thousands who welcomed him and peacefully acknowledged Islam as the divinely-decreed creed.
He was Ayatollah Seyyed Ruhollah Musavi Khomeini, whom a grateful nation bestowed the title of "Imam” or Supreme Leader.
The Father of the Islamic Revolution was indeed a devoted servant of the Prophet and the 12 Infallible Imams of his household; love, respect and obedience to whom is the fundamental principle of faith as decreed by God in the holy Qur’an.
No wonder, when he returned to his homeland Iran after 15 years of exile, millions of Iranians greeted him at the airport to usher in the Ten-Day-Dawn at the end of which the Islamic Revolution triumphed to change global equations and give the message to the world’s oppressed that Islamic Iran is here to stay in order to inspire them to materialize their denied rights.
For a decade Imam Khomeini guided the Iranian nation through the choppy waters of American and Zionist plots including the 8-year war imposed by Saddam, before departing for his heavenly abode, confident that his able and efficient successor, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, will continue the path of the Prophet and the Infallible Imams for the benefit of mankind.
Islamic Iran has since come a long way. It has mastered science and technology, true to the famous saying of the Prophet while pointing to his Iranian companion, Salman Farsi:
"If knowledge is to be found in the Pleiades, his people will acquire it.”
Today, after spreading the teachings of the Prophet’s Ahl al-Bayt all over the Planet, after defeating the plots of Global Arrogance, after inspiring the people of the region to rise for the establishment of Islamic rule, after splitting the atom for peaceful purpose, and after taking innovative strides in stem cell technology and medicine, the Islamic Republic of Iran is exploring outer space.
These giant steps for the progress of mankind and for peace on Earth may not be to the liking of the enemies of Islam and their cannibalistic terrorists who are trying in vain to destabilize the countries in our neighbourhood by committing the most abominable crimes against humanity – and that too in the name of Islam (or puritan Salafi Islam as their godfathers the Zionists and Imperialists call) – but there is little the US and the reactionary regimes can do to stop the tidal wave of the Islamic Revolution that was generated by Imam Khomeini in 1979.
This means that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic Revolution have a date with destiny, and despite the obstacles thrown in their way, are determined to march ahead, until, Insha Allah (God Willing), the Promised Saviour of mankind, the Prophet Muhammad’s (SAWA) Last and Twelfth Heir, Imam Mahdi (AS) will reappear, along with Prophet Jesus (AS), to weed out corruption and oppression from the world by establishing the global government of peace, prosperity, and justice.
No doubt, Imam Khomeini, who had described the victory of the grassroots Islamic movement of the Iranian people as "Our Revolution was the burst of light”, had also said: "The US can’t do a damn thing”. Amen
The skeptics are asked to keep their eyes wide open for the grand millions- strong mass rallies which the Iranian people are all set to stage in Tehran and throughout Iran on Wednesday, February 11, 2015, as thanksgiving to God’s blessings for materialization of the goals and ideals of Imam Khomeini and the Islamic Revolution.
