Students' Balanced Development, the Goal of Education

The minister pointed to the main goals of education and said that rearing is developing relatively constant behavior in those subjected to the process of rearing.

He added that our true capital is the population of 13 million students not petroleum, gas nor other resources. He explained the six aspects of a balanced education described in the Education Fundamental Transformation Charter and said balanced education means developing potentials of students in all dimensions because one-dimensional education is of no use.

He emphasized the importance of human resources in education and claimed that reform in education is dependent on reform in human resources. He said that teachers are agent of education, both in schools and in the institute so their role is pivotal.
