Students Must Familiarize Themselves with Virtual Space Culture

In the 11th reflection symposium on the nature of virtual space, Hojjatoleslam Mohyeddin Bahram Mohammadian, Deputy Minister of Education for Research Affairs said, 'Students should be familiarized with the culture of virtual space before having access to it and this should be carried out on a national scale'.

He added, 'in virtual space we go beyond time and place. We have already entered such space and there are no more barriers. It is a blunt space in which some material is revealed that ought not to be revealed and some comments are made that are untrue. Nevertheless we have never said we do not need it but rather we are cautious about it and we want to carefully select from it.'

Also pointing to Roshd national network, he recommended more investment in the field of technology infrastructures for education and added that training human resources should be a top priority in this regard.
