Amir Masoud Shahram-Nia added that the event is to be attended by a total of 847 publishers from Iran and foreign countries.
He further noted that the domestic section will feature over 77,000 titles of books including 3,500 titles of books in the field of Sacred Defense while some 22,000 books will go on display in the international section.
Tabriz International Book Fair with five separate halls and 750 pavilions is considered one of the biggest provincial book fairs, Shahram-Nia said, noting that holding peripheral programs such as specialized meetings on book as well as educational workshops and painting stations are also on the agenda.
The 13th East Azarbaijan International Book Fair will be sponsored by the Institute of Iran Cultural Exhibitions and provincial Culture and Islamic Guidance Department.
