Hojatoleslam Dr. Mohammadian, in an interview with Ilna's correspondent, in response to a question that, what has been done regarding the statement of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran in which he described the exclusive promotion of English language as unhealthy to our students, while other languages, such as Spanish, French, German, and the languages of the eastern countries, are also languages of science and learning. Said: "As a research organization and educational planning organization, we have produced volumes of German and French language content in addition to English."
The Head of the Research and Planning Organization added: "Universities must first develop a French language teacher or a German language teacher, as it has been the case of the English language."
The deputy minister of education said: "Universities will hopefully do this and create different language courses, and then a land-based test shold take place in this regard.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the Ministry of Industry and other organizations should announce their needs so the students can have good opportunities and hopes for the future after acquisition of German and French languages based on the needs of the said organizations.
