Commenting about the characteristics of books for children and adolescents he said, 'there are many stories in the Quran about prophets and godly men. Using those stories and parables is the best way for teaching the Quran and religious topics to children. Such books should be written in easy and fluent language and must be illustrated with color pictures.'
He added, 'publishers of children books should pay attention to both the content and the appearance of their books. Books must be appropriate to culture and levels of knowledge and intelligence of readers. Also layout, pictures, font and quality of printing are important.'
